5 SIMPLE STEPS TO A HAPPIER, BEAUTIFUL YOU!

I’ve been trying to create better habits in my life and implement simple things to eliminate stress and to make me feel happier through out my days. All of these things are simple changes but the small things add up and have been making a big difference! So I hope they can help you guys as well. ​

Create A Morning Routine: Having a good morning routine sets the tone for the entire day. Everyone’s morning routine will be different, but figure out what relaxes you and what you feel starts your day off right! Whether that’s working out, meditating, sitting outside, writing in a journal, or listening to music; experiment with different things until you find what works for you! I have been loving waking up early and just sitting on my balcony with a cup of coffee and every Sunday waking up early to write in my prayer journal. It’s crazy what a difference it makes and it’s so easy to fit into your morning routine!

Eliminate Clutter: Ugh this one is hard for me!! But having my apartment clean and tidy makes all the difference in the world. I’m definitely far from perfect when it comes to this, but even just taking a couple of minutes in my morning to just get things in order makes me feel so much better through out my day.

Become More Aware of What’s Really Worth Your Energy: Become aware and expend your energy wisely. Consume what lifts you up. Be around those that lift you up. Respond to what lifts you up.

Get Enough Sleep: Another thing that we all know we need to do, but most of us don’t. In this day in age it’s hard to fall asleep early with cellphones and social media. But if you just un plug, leave your phone far from your bed and try going to bed a little bit earlier each night until you wake up one day feeling rested will make a huge change in your mood!

Be More Positive: This is HUGE to me. I try to think about something positive each day. Especially when things aren’t going too good, instead of seeing the bad try to find the good in each and every situation.
